Texas Magic '01 is looking to add to our already talented roster for the remainder of the summer and 2014 Season. We will be holding OPEN PRACTICES during the summer. Our summer focus will be on strength and agility training in preparation for the fall and 2014 seasons. We are thrilled about all the inquiries and the number of girls we have had join our practices. This is a great way to see if your daughter is a fit for our team and we welcome all girls to come practice with us.
Tuesdays: 6:00pm to 7:30pm on Field 2 (Dad's Club, 5522 Fite Rd/Daughtery Rd, Pearland)
and
Thursdays: 7:30pm to 9:00pm on field # 3 (same location)
After only being together for a few short months, we have enjoyed a very successful first-year 12U season and are looking to build and prepare for our second year of 12U. We have had two 1st place finishes and placed top 4 in all but 4 tournaments played in, to include outlasting all 2001 teams while finishing 3rd place in District 27 ASA.
Our 2014 goals are to compete in two National Tournaments, including possibly the USFA World Series (Florida), ASA Nationals, Hall of Fame (Oklahoma), USSSA and/or a PGF (California), depending on qualification.

Our '01 team belongs to the Magic Organization, led by Rabbit Blake, Gold Ball Coach and Head of the Magic Organization. Rabbit is the Director of the PGF (Premier Girls Fastpitch) South Region (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana). Rabbit Blake has numerous contacts within the college softball recruiting world and is available to all Magic teams with his expertise and knowledge. If you want exposure for your daughter, then Magic is the organization for you. Our goal is to have a group of girls to grow together and ultimately play for the Magic Gold team. Many of the girls who played on the Magic Gold team have obtained scholarships to fabulous colleges all over the country.
This is a great opportunity for the right families to join our existing team.
