Broken Toe

Thank you for the wonderful comment.  I saw an orthopedic doctor and discussed my concerns with him.  I'm having some pain in my foot and a burning feeling on the bottom of the ball of the foot near my toes.  His feeling is that I likly damaged a nerve.  They did another X-ray and said I'm healing very quickly.   I my skin seems to because after my C-section a doctor I saw for something else seemed to think I was mistaken about when my son was born based upon how clean the scar looked 2 days after I got the stiches out.  My doctor commented on it too.  But this is the 1st bone I've ever broken besides my nose when I was a teen.  I don't remember that healing quickly but I needed to have it reset.  The doctor said that he could barely even tell it had been broken.  He told me to wait 2 more weeks and see how it felt walking.  If it was feeling OK I could try jogging.  He told me that the nerve discomfort could last between 2 and 4 months.  Adding that by the time 3 weeks from the injury had passed that it wouldn't cause more damage to use the foot and that I could decide how much based upon pain level.

In the meantime he suggested that I try water arobics in a few days.  I will take it easy and not push it if I'm having pain.  I do want to be in this for the long run (Pun intended)  so I am fully prepared to pull back if I need to.  I haven't had any foot or toe pain but he told me that I also have arthitis in my toes.
